Does anyone know if there is a parking fee at DLH? We are trying to decide whether to rent a car or just use shuttle. We would like to visit a couple of nearby places and thought it would be easier to drive. Please advise.

There is a resort fee of $10 or $11 a day which includes the parking.

I think you have to pay it even if you're not parking a car there, but I'm not sure. Maybe you can call the hotel and ask (unless someone here at MP knows).

Every guest pays a resort fee, above and beyond the daily quoted rate, and yes, it includes self parking. So you pay it no matter what.

For those who buy AAA/WDTC packages, the resort fee is included in the total package price.

Heck, getting a rental car at a place like Hotwire.com only costs a few dollars a day, and then you have the freedom to go places, heck the nearest grocery store is about 1 mile away, you can go pick up some drinks and snacks, and save some money...

You can go to the Character Warehouse, and save a lot on money on Disney souveners, and stop by In-n-Out for Lunch. You could go spend a day at Universal Studios, the Beach, Hollywood, etc....

I would go for the rental car, that way you can set your own schedule.

Yep, I'd go there except I'd be too envious of the people who get to wear the Renaissance costumes. I'd rather be an actress in the show than part of the audience!!

Come to think of it, I recall seeing the KK logo at Compass Books in Downtown Disney.

There is a $11.50/day (tax included) resort fee that includes self-parking, free local phone calls, high-speed internet, and use of the health club. The fee is mandatory and is added to the bill each day.

For the Marina Tower, I found the best self-parking on the roof of the convention center.
