And finally, over in the notorious submarine lagoon, there's more good news for Tomorrowland. The project cleared another important hurdle last week with the stamp of approval from Disneyland's Chief Financial Officer. The construction budget (with the spring of '07 opening timetable we'd told you about earlier) was given the blessing of Disneyland's sharp pencil boys, and that means they are now budgeting in the tens of millions of dollars for fiscal year 2006 and 2007 that the Finding Nemo remake of the Submarine Voyage will require.

It's good to hear that they are retooling that ride. I was hoping it would be done sooner, but I would rather wait for a well done ride rather than one slapped together in a hurry.

Spring '07, eh? July '07, I turn 50. A ride on my beloved subs would be the absolutely perfect way to celebrate.

How could Mr. 3894 possibly refuse?

forgive me disney gods, but i just pray this isn't indicative of coinciding with the direct-to-video release of 'finding nemo 2' or something to that effect.

I'm tired of TL being a desert wasteland with a giant oasis of an empty lagoon. I'm glad they are starting to draw close to getting the TL act together.

Thank you, sharp pencil Gods... now get to work on the PeopleMover, Rocket Jets and Skyway restoration budgets!

Buzz, Nemo, and maybe they can move A Bug's Life 3D to replace HISTA and rename it PixarLand!

well considering they don't have pixar anymore, steve jobs would have to become a major sponsor. hence my nemo 2 comment. i tremble to find out what toy story 3 is gonna turn out like, but i digress.
