Did anyone read about the new way they are going to measure kids to see if they meet the height requirements?

Seems they will use an ulrasound beam to record height that will ensure kids are tall enough for rides.

Seems they place a paddle placed atop the child's head, then lights up different colors that will correspond with wristbands indication which rides are safe for them.

They have been testing the device since 12/5. They don't know when it will become permanent.

This kind of cracks me up since reading some of the posts by CM'S having to deal with irrate parents. This should solve THAT problem.

See Adrienne Krock's "Parenting in the Parks" column about it here (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/ak011212.htm). There was a MousePad thread about it, too, here (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3599).

Oh, I didn't know this was old news. I just read it in todays paper.

Hmm, makes me think I oughta read it just a little bit more often AND pay closer attention to Parenting in the Parks. :)
