I guess this question would apply to non-castmembers who work within 3 miles of DLR.

For me, I've tried this on several occasions and ended up taking a 1.5-2 hour lunch mostly due to indecisiveness and wandering between lands.

Here's how my timing would ideally work out:
Drive to DTD parking lot: 5 minutes
Walk to entrance: 10 minutes
Wait in entrance line + walk to restaurant: 10 minutes
Eat Buffeteria / Fast Food Lunch (no time for sit down!): 15 minutes
Walk back to DTD parking: 20 minutes
Drive back to work: 5 minutes

Total time: 65 minutes

I just relized that 1 hour is almost impossible. :) Anyone else try this?

I work in Rosemead. It takes about 30 minutes to get to D-Land. Sometimes when I have a 2 hour lunch (due to coming in early) I'll go there. This usually gives me 1 hour in the park which would be for food and walking around or seeing the DUH show. I was able to go to the TOT previews on my lunch break.

GOOD TIMES!

Many years ago, when I worked as a courier for a Century City law firm, I would often have deliveries to the Santa Ana courthouse. This was well before development began in the parking lot, so motorcycle parking was still right up front next to the kennel. When I had time, I would have lunch at the park. It was a wonderful break from the stress and traffic.
