We are going for the 50th party later this year and have thought about getting a concierge level room at the Disneyland Hotel or Grand Californian. Has anyone stayed in these rooms recently and can you tell us what you think in terms of "value" vs beneift???

I read an article posted elsewhere on this site about concierge level rooms but it seemed to be more geared to Paradise Pier Hotel. Although they may be all the same in terms of whats offered.

Thanks!

Spend money to save your neck.

We stayed concierge at the Disneyland Hotel when the girls were younger. Grandpa was also with us and he did not feel well much of the time. It made life much smoother to have access to the fresh fruit and cheese platters, soda, etc.

Fast forward to last October when we stayed at the GCH. The girls are now teens. Grandpa is gone. We didn't need concierge.
