For me there's Olga, the coffee lady at the Main Street Market House. Over the last year and a half or so that I've had my AP I've seen Olga working the morning shift at the Market House counter for almost every single Sunday visit I've made. She sticks out in my mind for her unique name (because it's not a common American name) and because she was the first to inform me about the free refills on coffee upon showing the purchase receipt.

Are there any CMs that sticks out in your mind for some reason?

(There's also an attractive security guard I've seen working the Sunday morning shifts. :~D But I don't know her name.)

Last October, there was a male CM at the pin cart by Star Tours. He spoke very kindly with my 12 year-old daughter and made her feel that he really found her new pin collection interesting. It made Cleo's day.

I tried to get in line for HM with a churro - amature, I know. An older CM told me not to bring it in because the ghosts will want one too. He said it with a total straight face even when I started cracking up.
Another CM told my husband and me we looked like Dharma and Greg. Flattering.
Every time I call reservations, they always repeat my confirmation number by saying "J - like Jepeto, M - like Micky......." and "Have a magical day!"

Another CM told my husband and me we looked like Dharma and Greg.Is your relationship similar to Dharma and Greg? I can't picture being married to someone with a free-spirited Dharma like personality.

I recall a Jungle Cruise Captain by the name of Robert, or something like that, who so graciously informed us as we cast off "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is kind of spiel you can only get from a man who's turned in his 2 weeks notice."

Godspeed, Robert.

As a matter of fact. yes!

John in Vacation Planning- unbelievable, amazing, just plain cool. He put up with me during the planning of our trip once I decided to stay at the DLH. At one point we were exchanging weekly emails about my trip. He was so kind and spoiled my kids :D

Kimberly E. who works at The French Market. I was in line with DD and I was telling her about the cool bowl that we were going to get with our ribs. Kimberly was the CM working the register. She told me that they has just run out last week. I expressed my disappointed and went on my way. About 10 minutes later she comes up to our table with a Zero bowl wrapped in a paper bag. Very very sweet!

Stephanie C.- front desk at the DLH. She was so very nice when we checked in. She showered my kids with goodies and stickers. Again, really sweet.

Brian- Lady Bug Boogie (DCA). On our last trip we were in Bug's Land at opening  The place was empty. He was so sweet to Chloe letting her ride alone (over and over) but keeping his eye on her the whole time and waving to her.

There are about 15 that stick out in my mind... and photos. ;) Too bad only one of them remains at the Resort, and I'm never able to visit when he's there.

I think that Richard at the canoes was one of the nicest I've approached. When we asked for a photo, he was really friendly. My friend and I were at Company D one day and thought one of the CMs working there was him. Turns out he had a twin brother! And turned out I had a friend who knew him.

I went to Disneyland last July we took the Walk in Walts Footsteps tour and the guy giving us the tour was SUCH a sweetheart. He answerd our questions and when he was taking us on the tour through out the park he didn't sound scripted. He was extreamly proffessional. He was soooo nice. I really liked him. Cute too :D His name was Trevor.

Unfortunately, my most vivid "cast member memory" is of a parking person throwing cones and being very rude to drivers.
My wife was very upset (not mad, more scared).

We went to city hall, filed a report and spoke with a transportation supervisor.
We haven't seen her since.

I can't remember his name but he was (is?) a waiter at Ariel's Grotto. It was my birthday so I was wearing my little sticker. It seemed he went out of his way to make my lunch a little extra special which I appreciated.

I remember a CM named Greg who was working at Star Traders in August 2003. It was our first visit to DLR. I remember his name b/c it's the same as my brother's. Anyway, he was so nice and very helpful.

Then last summer a CM (I wish I had gotten her name!) came up to us and asked if we had any extra pull ups? She explained that some teens had brought their little brother to the park without any "supplies" in case of accidents. So we gave her one and she thanked us. The next night we were walking around Fantasyland looking at the long lines. Our kids wanted to ride but the lines were just to long at that time. Well that same CM walked right up to us and started a conversation. The typical "how's your trip going?" She asked what our favorite ride was. I told her my boys love Peter Pan's Flight but joked about the lines (we'd been on it several times in the morning but never at night). Then she said, "how about one last ride?" She took us through the exit and right on! My kids were in heaven and it was a nice way to end our trip! She really made our day!

It seems that almost every trip we have at least one CM that just shines above the rest and that's not easy to do at Disney ....we've been blessed with great experiences every trip. Having said that, a couple come to mind...one was the year Hunchback was the movie that was being promoted. We were in Fantasyland, near the entrance to the walk thru (which was still open at the time) when my young niece fell and scraped her knee. The CM assisting in the portrayal of Phobeas happened to be coming our direction and saw her crying, stopped and knelt down and dryed her tears and hugged her and told her how proud he was of her while we cleaned her scrape ....his escort gave us directions to the First Aide station and offered to escort us there, we declined but they were so caring over what was a simple childhood scrape.

Another one that the kids still talk about happened on BTRR. For this to make sense there has to be a little explanation....The cousins are wonderful with Miss B and I rarely go to the parks without at least one if not all 3 of them 'in tow' ... this particular trip both families were there in full numbers and at the time all the adults were still smokers and the smoking areas weren't policy yet, that meant that as long as you weren't inside a queue or a parade area, it was ok to light up where ever you were. My brother, sister in law and I walked with the kids to the exit of BTRR (my daughter uses a wheelchair so we use the alternative entrances) and sent the 4 kids off to ride with total confidence that the boys would watch and take care of the girls perfectly. We stayed behind to smoke (no lectures please we all 3 have since become non smokers)...we keep an eye on the trains til we see the kids go by waving madly of course, shortly after here come the crew out the exit, followed by a CM with a determined look on her face. We're parents, we KNOW our kids are not perfect so we're like OH crud what on earth did they DO? She walked up and asked if they were 'our' kids and I spoke and said yes they are, how can we help you. She said OH NO, I got to come out to talk to you on behalf of our crew, we wanted you to know how wonderful your boys are with your girls, how wonderfully polite they are to the CM's and just loving and caring of their cousin (the boys had told her they were cousins at the loading dock). And at that point she pulled out these blue coupons and asked exactly how many were in our party and wrote a coupon for complimentary ice cream bars for everyone because the kids were so 'well behaved guests'. The KIDS asked us not to redeem the coupon, they wanted it as a souvineer. So we did as they asked, but we went and BOUGHT them ice creams just because :)

Douglas and Jack, in the watch shop. (Douglas also fills in at Disneyanna sometimes). Nathan and Debbie at Disneyanna. The ENTIRE crew of the dear departed "Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, Play It!" at DCA...CM's who still recognize us from their 'new' positions at DCA.

Not the sour lady in lost and found who silently punched my name into her computer when I was inquiring after my lost Pentax, glanced at the screen, shook her head in a 'no' direction and went back to what she was doing.

Diahhan (I think that's how she spells it) at Riverbelle during breakfast (everytime I go she is there). She's always either behind the counter or at the register. She has glasses and red hair, which always has it up in sort of a beehive. Very nice, professional and knows what she's doing.

Chris, on our last trip, day 5 if i remember correctly, my 3 year old finally hit burn out while we were sitting on a curb along Main St. waiting for a parade. He just burst into tears and was absolutly exhusted. Chris was the nice CM working crown control I guess, came over and sat down by my son and just started talking to him, He found out my baby's passion is the fire dept and that when he grows up he wants to be a fire fighter, well Chris told my son he was training to be a firefighter and talked to him about it for about 15 minutes, making my little guy smile and forget all about his tears. It was so sweet to watch this nice CM go out of his way to chear up a sad little kid.
I heard his lead scold him for spending so much time with "that kid" but he really made my boys day.
so a very big thank you to Chris from me.

Please, I'm a grown woman obsessed with Disneyland - I only wish I was as cool as Dharma. I think it was our hairstyles at the time. Mine was kinda blond and lumpy and husband's - well, husband has had the same haircut since he was 5. Except for the brief appearance of the mullet from '84 - '86. Anywho, it's probably because I'm also about 100 feet tall and husband is normal height.

I was very impressed by the woman who does the silhouttes at the little shop on main street. She said she is one of 3, and has been there over 25 years. She did such a great job- and it was cheap!

The other great service was when my daughter lost her hat on the coaster in toontown. They werent able to retrieve it for us at the time, but that night they did and mailed it to us. We got it about a week after we returned home.

Brit. Works in the Gallery above Pirates and trades off also in the gallery store on Main Street. Adore her. Just that. We adore her. We always make sure to say 'hey' when we're there.

CM Samantha. We had just seen the WD Story/Mr. Lincoln at the theatre when my 8 yo daughter noticed she'd lost her sunglasses. We most likely lost the glasses earlier but Samantha saw our predicament and promptly offered us a voucher for $20 to replace the sunglasses we lost.

What impressed me was her reading of the situation. There was no way she was letting us leave the park unhappy.

Not so much something special that was done, but just one of the funniest things I have ever seen at Disneyland came from a CM and oddly enough, it came from over in DCA at Paradise Pier. I was in one of the shops over near the boardwalk gaming area, my gf and I were chatting with a CM in the store, something about a stuffed doll or something, cant remember, anyway, when this guy walks in from outside and the three of us notice he has a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bottom of his shoe. I'd say it was about 6 inches long or so coming off the back side of his shoe. Anyway, the three of us start to laugh but not make a big scene, when the CM, she attempts to "remove" the toilet paper by trying to step on it and keep it down when the man walks. She kept trying to sneak behind the man to do it because she didnt want to bluntly say, "hey look whats on your shoe". The best part was she couldn't get behind him because he kept walking around back and forth amongst the store and the poor girl was trying so hard to get this and keep herself from laughing at the same time while this whole thing escalated into an Abbott and Costello act. Meanwhile, my gf and I are rolling on the floor because this is just too funny to watch. Everyone is looking at this point and finally, she gets it free. She walks back over to us, beat red in the face from laughing and says, "You wont believe me but that is the second time that has happened to me since I have worked here."
