Just thought some of you might want to see the photos.... I can't imagine many of us have $2,500 just laying around!

Its an actual Disney auction.....

HAHAHAHA I do like the disclaimer!
Please note: Persons seated inside the vehicle should not activate the lap bar, as it might not be possible to release the lap bar from the down position.

Shipping to Las Vegas is only $900! I think I'd rather tie it on top of a vehicle. Can you imagine going down I-15 seeing someone with a Space Mountain vehicle strapped to the top? I think that would make a great photo opportunity!

Also availale is a Skyway car.....

Shipping $900 clams to my house too! What a riot it would be to have a Space Mountain vehicle sitting in the front yard. My neighbors would think I had finally lost my last screw!!! ha! Fun item, thanks for sharing with us!

Yes they are. Dont worry, I have seen the new rockets and they are awesome. They are very similar but basically with a new looks and a state of the art sound system. I will post a picture when I get home. They basically are like comparing the same model car but one is the new model 2005 and one is the old model 1977 etc.

Winning bid was $4,350. No idea where it was shipping to. If I had that kind of money to throw around, I think I would turn it into a gokart.

Damn - auction's over. And I was all set to begin convincing my girlfriend how much we needed a Space Mountain vehicle in our house. At least there's still time to convince her we need a SKyway car! :D

Hahahahaha a Go-Kart... thats awesome! I'd be afraid to crash it though =/

The winning bidder has 0 feedback and a NEW account... I wonder if the bid was a hoax?

It bugs me how they "disable" the onboard systems. Wouldn't it be more attractive to have a working car, with the opening doors and working speakers and lights? I'm sure I could rewire the electronics, but I know nothing about hydraulics.

Still, it's a steal at $500. Of course we have nowhere to put the thing.

A peaoplemover car for $500 IS a steal... but its $900 to ship it. At least they offer a pick-up on it! I am sure a Uhaul is cheaper.

One thing I did find funny was the "hazardous materials" warning. I wonder what they mean.. asbestos? lead paint?

They have a Space Mountain car back again.... I wonder if the 0 feedback new user was a hoax afterall... or maybe this is a second car.

the one i want most is the Skyway car.

It was more fun than the People Mover, and Space Mountain is still around, plus its not as nostalgic.
