OK, let's see what the Disneyland Resort told the local Good Neighbor Hotels...

First, the special tickets they can sell at the Front Desk....Adults/kids 3-9
Valid 1/4/05-4/28/05

2-Day ParkHopper $105/$85 - same price as the Main Entry Plaza tickets

3-Day ParkHopper Plus - $114/$114 - Adults for Kid's Price, a savings of $45 for the adult price over the Main Entry Plaza price, plus you get the extra benefits...

4-Day ParkHopper Plus - $134/$134 - $55 savings for adults

Also, we now know the SoCal CityPass price as of 4/1/05... $185 for Adults, $127 for kids... That is a $13 increase for adults, and a $2 decrease for kids. Plus as part of the 2005 CityPass as of 4/1/05, you will get a Disneyland Early Entry pass.

I have a copy of the flyer sent by Disneyland to the Good Neighbor Hotels, it shows the SoCal City Pass being basically the same from April 1st, 2005 thru March 31st, 2006.... The same six day package, 3 days at the DLR, one day at Knott's, one Day at SeaWorld SD and a day at either the SD Zoo or WAP. They have added the benefit of one Early Entry to Disneyland, and as mentioned before, $185 for adults, and $127 for kids 3-9. That is pretty much the entire info printed on the flyer, hope it helps.

Darkbeer- Do you have any information related to upcoming discounts at the Disneyland Resort Hotels? I'm planning a trip during the end of March and the room rates are outrageous. We typically get a Resort Magic Package for 2 adults at the Grand Californian for about $1200 for 5 nights but they have raised the 2005 rate to $2500. When I called Disney Travel to question the reason for the rate being doubled, I was told that they're expecting huge crowds for the 50th and several changes have been made. Guess what, the 50th doesn't start until May and I'm going in March. What's up with the rates? Anybody, help!

One of the things I follow, because it falls into my interests, is ticket pricing for the SoCal parks.... I am not a Hotel expert, and I not a fan of the Disney owned hotels in Anaheim due to the prices they charge versus other nearby hotels.

Maybe someone else can answer, or you could check MouseSavers.com, that web site follows all the discoutns available for the Disney owned hotels.

Rentayenta- I have checked www.getawaytoday.com and their prices are double the old rate too. Looks like I may be staying in a good neighbor hotel next time around. Thanks anyway!

^^^^ Bummer. I checked the rates for Dec. 2005 and the prices are really close for what we paid in 2004 for the DLH  Let me know if you find a good GC rate.

I have a similar question. I have an AP, plannning for an August trip (22-25)
It seems the best rates would be thru a hotel, since I don't need tickets.
BTW, I'm looking for something on Harbor, Del Sol or Castle Inn. Something clean and cheap.
