Is DTD open to everyone or do you need a parkhopper pass to get in? Our flight will have us getting to Anaheim around 7:30 pm and I was just wondering if we can get into DTD that night or if we have to just hang out until the next morning.

DTD is open to everyone. It is a great way to spend the day before you go into the park. The have great places to eat and you can go see a movie.

Also, parking is free for a few hours, then up to 5 hrs with a validation.

Any suggestions for Dinner with 4 adults and 4 kids? Rainforest Cafe maybe?

The RF Cafe surely won't disappoint, but that's the only restraunt i've eaten at there and i'm not too picky. The only concern i'd have is with a young child, the simulated storms might be frightening.

We will have ESPN Zone cards but not until the next day so we will wait to go there.

Rainforest cafe was pricey last time i visited. A great place was the outdoor eating area at Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen. You buy the food from a counter service area and eat in an open air area, great atmosphere, and families were welcome.

I like the Jazz Kitchen and House of Blues too.

^ I've never been disappointed at the Jazz Kitchen. And about a year ago, I had an outstanding meal at Catal.

I vote no for The Rainforest Cafe. The food is bleh and pricey and the service is mediocre. I really want to like it but they won't let me. I do like their store though. The Rainforest Cafe is like Denny's with good themeing IMHO.

The food at the ESPNZone is good as is the service.

The Jazz kitchen smelled wonderful when we walked by.

Not only should you check out Downtown Disney, I would suggest the Disneyland Hotel lobby and grounds. (http://home.pacbell.net/dagravy/disneyslide/index.htm)
There's plenty of Disneyana to be found there.
It's also a freebie!

If you're driving, or staying towards the SW corner of the park, I would recommend Marri's Italian, where Walnut dead ends into Katella.
I've only had their pizza, but it was good and affordable.

Pizza, eh? Franchises, in order of goodness:
1. Round Table.
2. Numero Uno. (Not plain UNO -- ther is a major difference!)
3. Papa John's.
4. Dominos.
5. Little Caesar's Pizza Pizza.

I generally don't go beyond the first two. Someone else would have to pay.
Some OC residents might have local favorites that they might enjoy and want them to be more successful.

If you want to save a few bucks, go to this site...

http://www.pizzahut.com/coupons/

Type in the zip code 92802...

Also, currently you get at an XL (30% larger than PH Large) for $9.99 with one topping, $11.99 gets you three toppings.

The nearest store that delivers is...

Pizza Hut Store:
1796 S EUCLID ST
Anaheim, CA 92802
Phone: (714)563-0333

(hugs sediment and Darkbeer) What the hell is wrong with you two!!! You can't get a good pie from Pizza hut or Round table! You need to go to a real Pizzaria. Are there any around Disneyland??? I know that years ago there was a place called Romano's (probably long gone). The mentioned Marri's is interesting - any other recommendations???

I had the carnitas tacos and they were fantastic. I've also heard a lot of people recommend the Mexicone. You should give it a try.

I've only had their pizza, but it was good and affordable.

And right next door to Marri's is Tacos Mi Pueblo, which has real Mexican food, none of this gringo Taco Bell stuff, nossir, they have goat and menudo and the air is filled with real music from Mexico and people speaking in Spanish and the counter help sometimes doesn't speak English so good but the food is very good.
