So I decided to renew my pass on friday and i cant help but do the math in my head again and again and i still cant figure out where this number came from...

the pass I had was a premium that expires the 9th.

so a delux pass is 209.
minus the renewal discount of 20 bucks makes it 189
I asked for parking and was expecting the additional 49 bucks added on
so the total should be 238 right?

so when the guy behind the counter said 199 I asked "with parking right? are you sure thats right?" and he said yup!

is my math totally wrong? or does adding parking really only cost 10 bucks?

parking should be another $49 (unless there is a special or something) so I wouldnt complain about it, you might have gotten a deal

maybe there was a special with adding the parking in..my hubby got his deluxe in september at the old price of $179, plus $40 parking on top of that ..so $219...(this is before the pass went up to $209)

Do you have a "P" on your AP? That indicates parking privileges.

Are you sure? I thought it meant "Premium."

Are you sure? I thought it meant "Premium."Nope, I'm sure about that. That's what I originally assumed (because you don't get the "P" designation with the basic APs) but I was corrected numerous times over the years. It's to make sure the parking lot attendant can very quickly determine that you don't have to pay for parking. They don't swipe your AP at the parking lot, they just visually check for the "P".

I just looked and I see that my AP also says "Premium" on it. I guess when the store CMs look at my AP that's what they're looking for.

When I renewed my pass last year, my premium came out to be $209. I didn't complain. It was supposed to be $279...I think (or whatever the last price for premium was) and even with the $20 discount, it shouldn't have been that cheap. Hopefully they make the same mistake again! ;)

I was wondering if you renew your pass at the park will they still give you the $20 discount for renewing. I thought that was only available through the mail.

If they mailed you the renewal notice before the rates went up, you still get that price. 179 minus the 20 renewal discount plus 40 for parking. That would be my guess as to why you paid 199.

Yes, if you go to guest services and renew your pass, you still get the $20 discount as long as your pass is still valid.
