Great night shots!

And, Karla. The pictures in the day don't show nearly the actual crowds that were there. IMO, if you don't need to come over Thanksgiving weekend, choose another time. (After Thanksgiving and before Christmas school vacations start is good).

Is there a reason the castle isnt decorated that much compared to other years?

Unfortunately, they exceed the 400x400 pxl limit.
Plus we're only allowed 1 shot, per poster, per thread.

You take AWESOm pictures..wish I could take good pictures..but cant..is it a digital (I think it is by your last comment) on pixels, etc..I have no clue what that means of course. I usually use my camera phone, sometimes it takes great pictures, other times no..and I use a disposable. I am thinking about buying a digital though, just need the $$

I know those are the rules, but does it matter? I mean, why would you go into a pictures thread without seeing all of the pictures? To comment on this thread you'd have to look at all the pictures at least once, and after that the "we need to accomodate users with slower modems" argument doesn't work because all the images are stored in their respective web caches anyway.

The reason I posted this wasn't to to complain, but to inform.
Although I registered quite a while back, I just started posting.

In a reply to a post, I posted a photo that was too large for the moderators (only by about 100 pixels!).
It was replaced with a link to the photo and an explaination from a moderator explaning that photos were limited to 400x400pxl.

After learning this, I posted 2 photos, carefully cropped under the 400 pixel limit.
One was replaced by a link with an explaination from a moderator that we are limited to one photo per poster, per thread.

I think a more Mousepad bandwidth friendly means of posting several image is to link them like this:
My Recent Photos (http://homepage.mac.com/stupid_american/disneyphotos/)

Since the photos on this thread have lasted into their 4th day, I'm beginning to take it personal! (I'm KIDDING!)

disneyfreak- let's not ask why, let's just enjoy the simplicity. those tired banners from 2000 never hung right. ugh. one strong breeze and they'd all tilt odd directions.

but i'm guessing probably because the tarps return right after the end of the holiday season for the extensive 50th overlay (sadness- tiaras and bunting). and why drill more holes when you've just patched and painted, yes?

i personally prefer it a great deal. it's a nice, clean aesthetic. the castle doesn't need to look like a drag queen's christmas party to feel festive and attractive.

and, not to hijack- but did you guys know that the mark twain goes down in january to be "accented" with the 50th theme colors painted on and more gold bunting?

shall we all say it together?

YUCK!
