QuikQuote: Disneyland food-service workers ratified a three-year contract that allows more workers to reach full-time status, allows them to climb to the top of the pay scale quicker and brings both Disney theme parks under one union contract, officials from Local 50 said Tuesday.
Other highlights of the Local 50 contract at the theme parks include:
Shade for vending carts in the sun.
Classifying workers in three scheduling groups to create more full-time jobs.
More consistent scheduling and more consistent days off.
Workers with more seniority are able to get more hours.

Heh, shade for the ODV carts...I'll believe it when I see it.

The money for new umbrellas and umbrella bases will come after 3 years of wrangling and pleading for the capital expense, and they'll all get stolen by other departments anyways.

Well...I'm glad that a new contract was signed, after the fight between the newly-formed Local 50 and the old Local, I never thought they'd negotiate an effective contract, especially since nobody ever shows up to contract negotiations, at least they didn't before.
