If so, please post them. We had a great trip, great pics, etc, but somehow failed to take a few down Mstreet!

Thanks alot - we were there that night - amazing! What a shame for us to travel all the way from Utah and not get a shot of the family down Mainstreet!! :( We fell victim to what has been discussed on another thread - small children!!! They were great and we would go back with them in a heartbeat, but so many times you end up at their mercy and you can't always do what you want when you want - like snap a great photo.

Thanks.

Are you talking about the tarp that's been completely covering the castle for most of the summer? Or was something else there?

The special screen was up from about 5 to 7 PM, as they were shooting footage to be used in a commercial, by 7 PM, they had left the area.

Yeah, they were in various spots for a commercial all day. When we rode Splash right at opening, they were filming people coming down the final drop.

Oh they are way-y-y-y at the other end of the street. In a 400x300 shot, you just can't see them. I think there is also someone inside the camera store. Sometimes you just have to be patient and wait for a space in the crowd. Sometimes I feel like a nature photographer waiting for the perfect shot of the sun setting across the landscape. Takes lots of patience. (of course this was taken after the park itself had closed, but Main Street was still open for shopping, so I had a better chance of getting a deserted shot).

Have you seen my other holiday shots here (http://www.visionsfantastic.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=151&start=0)?

DaddyB as a fellow photographer I applaud your work. I have a few shots of empty streets at DL and I can back you up on the fact that it is like working in nature and waiting for that perfect moment to click the shutter. Great work. BTW, what type of camera do you use?
