Unless you are a premium AP, yup. It's pretty much all blacked out. Here's (http://www.mouseplanet.com/al/docs/blackout.htm) MP's page on DLR AP Blackouts.

The electricity is not expected to go out.

Disney web site has pdf pages of blockout dates.
The PAP has no blockout dates. All the rest are blocked every single day from 12/24 - 1/1.

Hmmmm, does anyone else see that pet-peeve standing in the corner of the room?

I don't know to what you are referring.

Those of us with some non-Disney life experiences under our belt know that the term "blackout" or "blackout date" is used in a way that is similar to the way that Disney uses "blockout" or "blockout date". I don't see that one is preferable or more correct than the other.

As far as I know, there is no rule on this site that limits us to the Disney corporate terminology.

More like suggestions than actual rules.
It helps to use proper terms to minimize ambiguity.

Besides, I was being facetious when I claimed not to know to what Merm8fan was referring. No corners, though. It's front and center.
