Hey all... a co-worker of mine just visited the resort this past weekend and said BTMRR was closed (again.) I hadn't noticed it being shut down again on the attractions calendar.

Did anyone happen to be at the park Saturday or Sunday? Any insights? I'm guessing maybe it was just a temp closure, and they should have checked back.

I'm bummed, because I had been telling her how great it was that BTMRR was opened again after the last accident. :(

It was open on Saturday and the actual ride seemed to be running slower than usual. I heard several people behind us saying the same thing we were thinking. On Sunday, California Screamin' was closed due to technical difficulties.

I rode Big Thunder Friday and Sunday. Didn't notice anything odd.

Pirates was closed all evening Friday though. No idea why...

We were on the top deck of the Mark Twain on Sunday afternoon and saw that the trains were stopped and they were escorting guests off the ride.

Well, I was on it Sunday night, so it must not have been very major.

Sounds like a routine "technical difficulties" downtime to me.

California Screamin' was open on Sunday but yes we did have technical difficulties. We actually got the ride up and running by 2pm. I have to say that it sucks being at greeter at that time. People please do not yell at us because the ride doesn't want to power up. It's not the cm fault. I swear we had A LOT of rude guest come up to us. We even got a lady who looked like she was ready to hit us. Stupid lady.

I hate when people are rude!! It's still a shock to me. Even though DL is supposed to be the happiest place on earth, many people find a way to ruin it. And they think that CMs are there to walk all over. Grrr!

I'm pretty bummed when I get to a ride only to find it closed, especially if I walked all the way to the back of DCA just for Screamin'. It doesn't bother me too much, because I know I'll be back in a couple weeks anyway. Someone that comes once a year or less, I can see how they could fly off the handle. I wouldn't want to deal with that!

Of course, I'll admit I'm usually the one asking, "When will it be back up?"

Someone that comes once a year or less, I can see how they could fly off the handle. That doesn't mean they should take it out on a CM standing in front of the attraction like it's *THEIR FAULT*. People need to understand that attractions might have problems sometimes, and if the attraction is down for safety reasons then of course it's a lot better to be safe then sorrry.

Although it's probably the same idiot parents that don't care about their child's safety and yell and scream at us when they are to short to ride. "The mean man isn't letting you ride sweety, I'm sorry he's treating you that way... Let's go report him"

I've gotten that exact line told to me, and many times made out to look like the "bad" or "mean" guy to children for not letting them on. I pray for those kids safety.
