Does anyone know where online i can view a smaple or copy of the napa rose menu. I'm sure it changes daily like most fine dining restaurants, but just to see what they have would be nice. Thanks

I believe cstephens, who posts here has various menus from Napa Rose (and other restaurants) on her website: www.colddeadfish.net (http://www.colddeadfish.net)

Here's the summer 2004 menu (http://www.colddeadfish.net/naparose/napamenu.html). I expect they've changed over to their Fall menu by now, but I didn't have a chance yesterday to run by and look. I'll try to do that next week.

cstephens you rock!

It doesn't get much better than this:

Four Course Prix Fixe $65.00
...add Flight of Four Wines $35.00

If you have never been there.....WOW! You won't be disappointed.

Nothing like reviving an ancient thread.

Anyone local to DLR, or who's recently been there, know if Napa Rose has a new Fall Menu up yet? It seems well past the time they ought to. The main menu reference I usually check still has the Summer Menu listed:
http://www.dlresortinfo.com/grandcalifornianrestaurants/naparose/naparose.html

Same question for the Vineyard Room:
http://www.dlresortinfo.com/vineyard.html

If anyone's headed to NR or VR and can report back on the Fall Menus, I'd much appreciate it. We're trying to decide which one to go to. [Been to NR several times, never to the VR.] Thanks.

Actually, MousePad would prefer you start a new thread.

There's nothing to prevent you posting to this thread but it's bad netiquette. People's opinions may have changed.

Geez. I am so sorry. I always see combined threads and thought too many on the same subject was bad. My bad. I will start a new one.

Wonderful comment!
I'm always amazed that people point out that a topic has been "covered" before.
Some people aren't really comfortable with the internet.
And, as you point out, opinions change.

Yeah, sometimes people - including me - will post a link to another thread. That isn't code for "shut up. doofus". A link to another thread is just further info. It should never shut down a conversation.

After all, this is a discussion board.

I appreciate both a response and a link to past threads. Keeps this one alive, and open to new commentary, while giving a wealth of "immediate gratification" information. :)
