Ok everyone- I've checked the yesterland site and a couple of others, and they do talk about the price of the coupon books, but- How much was it to actually enter the park? I'm working my way through the wikipedia disneyland info and it really doesn't have any sort of hiostical details on that.

so- each year from '55 till 04- what was the admission and additional costs such as coupon books?

On opening day the entrance fee was $1.00 for adults and $.50 for kids including tax.

When they started using ticket books, there was an admission ticket on it that a CM would remove as you entered. That is why a FULL ticket book, one that still has the admission ticket still attached, is worth a pretty penny today.

I have no idea how much ticket books sold for in later years. Not walking around information for me.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm......why does $13.00 sound right to me? Do you know the answer, or just asking to get the correct amount? Now my curiosity is killing me...you'll have to post the amount!!! Boy am I glad we don't have coupon books now or we'd all go broke! The E tickets would be gone in a flash and we'd all be in line to buy more!!!! :D WHEEEEEEEE!

We have a child's ticket book from about 1979. It says child 3-11 $7.50.
It has BTMRR listed as an E-ticket ride. We have a summer guide from 1975 that lists The Big 11 Adults $6.00, Junior (12-17) $6.50, Child (3-11) $5.00.
The Deluxe 15 list Adult $7.00, Junior $6.50, Child $6.00. Hope this helps some.

I'm really nor sure aboutt his, ut my parents seem to think that when they went to the one pass get you on all the rides they were about $25.00. I think it was during the 80's. Anyway they still had those ticket books also. So, we had to show our day pass for every ride. I eventuallt just pinned it to my shirt...LOL

I don't have the answer to that one, mom and dad always bought the ticket books and admission, it was something I didn't have to pay attention to. Now my older sister might know, I'll have to get back to you all on this one. I do remember dad paying admission first and then paying for ticket books, and if he had some extra cash that day he would buy a couple of extra books so we could go on rides more then once. Those were the bonus DL days.

I just talked to my folks and as usual they don't agree ;)

My father said it cost $5 to get in and $15 for the books. My mother said it was $15 to get in and $15 for the books.

I would tend to believe my father because he was the one who took me weekly. This was in the early 70's.

Ok, thanks to my packrat nature I can answer exactly how much I, er, most of the time my parents paid to enter the park etc. In no particular order here is what I pulled out of my Disneyland ticket/passport box:(sorry I'm not putting them in order)

1. I don't know the year sometime in the 70's I have several ticket books I think they are all from the same year:
a. Adult admission and 15 adventures - $9.25
b. Junior admission and 15 adventures - $8.00
c. Child admission and 15 adventures - $7.50
These books have at least one of each ticket A-E. attractions listed include:
Submarine voyage, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, America Sings, Peoplemover, Skyway, Adventure through Inner Space, Mission to mars, So these look like 1978 or later, correct? I also have a Readmission ticket - apparently something broke down while we were on it!!
2. One day passport dated: Mar 27, 1994 - $22.00 (So. Cal Sulute Promo)
3. One day passport dated: Sep 15, 1991 - $27.50
4. One day passport dated: Aug 15, 1994 - $29.00 (Magic Kingdom Club)
5. One day passport dated: Feb 24, 1990 - $25.50
6. One day passport dated: Jul 29, 1993 - $30.00
7. Dream Machine Game piece dated - unknown - not a winner so I got a pin
8. One day Passport (child) dated: May 09, 1981 - Sorry no price
9. One day Junior Passport: dated: June 17, 1982 - $9.00
10. I also had summer night passes in 1985 and 1986 good from early June through Early september after 5:00pm. Spent a lot of time at Videolopolis as a teen. (have some great pictures!) I think we paid about $50.00 for this, anyone know for sure?
Anyway there is at least some admission prices for you.

Bye from Tower B!
