While the mood was upbeat at the Happiest Place on Earth, some of the 12,000 people who participated in the CHOC/Disneyland Resort Walk in the Park had devastating stories to tell: Vicious cancers invading tiny bodies. Agonizing months spent watching children suffer. Emotional and financial roller-coaster rides.

These devastating stories are what motivated many of us to participate. It was a fun day all the way around and a great opportunity to see the park as many people don't get to see it. Most importantly, it was a day to be thankful for your own healthy children and help those who aren't so fortunate. Great job by CHOC and the Disneyland Resort.
