We are heading off to Disneyland next weekend (YAH!) and my husband has never seen Tinkerbell start off the fireworks show. What is everyone's opinion on the best viewing spot to watch her start off the magic???

Main Street near the castle I would think. But since the castle is under tarps does anyone know if she still is flying?

You won't see Tinkerbell in the sky until May 2005. Fireworks are normally available on Friday and Saturday nights, though this weekend there is a Sunday show due to the 3 day weekend.

Isnt the wire for her down right now?

Yes, it is. She will return in May for the new fireworks show, "Remember, Dreams Come True". Rumor has it the wire will be lowered.

Watching Tinkerbell was always a big deal for us when we were kids. Waiting for her to fly seemed like it took for ever.

I can honesty say that I did not know that the castle was "down". I can not tell you how disappointed I am. I always get emotional when I enter the gates, go under the RR Tracks, round the circle and look up Main Street towards the Castle. This time it will be sad :(

All the more reason to look foraward to our summer 2005 trip.

Thanks everyone for the posts.

There currently is a lot down for refurbishment. But there is really good news for you. Currently there are very little crowds so you will have a really good time. Here are pics of the resort: http://darkbeer.smugmug.com/Theme%20Parks
