I was wondering if anyone knew if there's a map with all the hotel properties and DLR on it. I have the Unofficial Guide to DL but it doesn't show the actual park and the hotels are just written out names. I want some detail on a map. Thanks.
Do you want a map of just the three Disneyland on-property hotels and the Disneyland Resort parks, or did you want a map showing the hotels in the area?

Oops. I want one of all of the hotels in the surrounding blocks.

Thank you so much for those two maps. They were exactly what I was looking for.
Oops. I want one of all of the hotels in the surrounding blocks. The nicest batch of maps I know of are made available by the Anaheim Convention Center and Visitors Bureau at their Web site (http://www.anaheimoc.org/visit/index.cfm?action=maps). They've got maps of hotels, maps of restaurants, maps of Anaheim, maps of Southern California... and in beautiful PDF form that you can even print out! I've been very impressed with their maps. I hope you like them, too. :)
I am making my way to DL for the first time next March and these maps have shown me how big this place really is. My feet hurt just thinking about it.
We are staying at the Carousel Inn on Harbour Blvd and I was wondering how far this is to the DLH, as we are going to Goofy's one morning for breaksfast. Is it worth getting a taxi or can you use the monorail from the Harbour Blvd side to get to the DLH?

The monorail makes only two stops in the whole city of Anaheim: Tomorrowland and the west end of Downtown Disney. It does not extend beyond the borders of DL property. You could get a taxi if you're willing to pay for the fare.

The mind boggles, let me tell you.
As for getting around, check with the Carousel Inn to see if they have a shuttle to the resort entrance. If not, they might offer free passes to ride on ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) shuttles. Either way, you shouldn't have to walk hither and yon (just only once you get in the park).
