DLR will be holding auditions for "A Christmas Fantasy", the winter parade, very soon. This information is copied from a flyer entertainment CMs recieved in the mail:

Share in the magic of the season by auditioning for "A Christmas Fantasy" parade. We will be casting dancers, character performers, ice/roller skaters, and a ballerina on pointe to bring this holiday classic to life.

Tuesday, September 14 6:00pm -- Face Characters

Saturday, September 18 8:00am -- Men (all heights)

Sunday, September 19 8:00am -- Women (all heights), Ice Skaters (Women 4'8" - 5'10"), Roller Skaters (Women 5'6" - 5'10"), Ballerinas on pointe

Wear comfortable clothing that won't restrict movement (shorts, t-shirts, sweats, leotards). Shoes are required. You must bring your own pointe shoes for ballerina auditions. Please do not bring valuables. Auditions last from 2 - 8 hours. We suggest you bring snacks or money for vending machines. For more information call 714-781-0111.

All applicants must be at least 16 years of age by October 1, 2004. Those auditioning must be available on selected weekday evenings and weekends from Oct 4, 2004 through Nov 18, 2004. You must be available for performances on weekdays and weekends Nov 19 2004 - Jan 2 2005.

All auditions are held at the Entertainment Rehearsal Halls located backstage at the Disneyland Resort (for you CMs who know, this is in the N-18 building, just east of N-19 behind Toontown). Parking is available in the parking structure off Ball Road and Cast Place (that's TDA parking). 700 West Ball Road, Anaheim, CA 92803.

If Disney is smart, they'll create a brand new Christmas parade for 2005, as part of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary! They wouldn't dare bring back the same old tired holiday parade, would they? God I hope not! :eek:

Actually, I think it's more like "12 more times!" We counted one year [yes, we're dorks, we really did], but I forget the number.

Tired? Naw...it was awesome! It took a whole hour to watch the full version! I loved it. (referring to VMCP, not A X-M F)
