They were out today measuring the height of the monorail tracks (pics: http://www.dldhistory.com/misc )anyone know what they are up to??

That's the area between the Matterhorn and the raised parade viewing area on the way to small world.

One would assume that they will be moving some large item in, and this is the only available route.

Probably smarter to measure first, rather than crunch the Monorail track with some crane or truck on the first pass through!

When the Matterhorn goes into it's rehab in September, that entire area will be repaved. There has been a ton of park and facilities management in the area recently planning for it. I'm betting they are checking the track height to verify that all the equipment they plan to use in the area won't destroy the Monorail.

The Matterhorn was on my left and i was facing west when i took the shots..
