I love all of the classics - Pirates, HM, Space, Splash, Thunder, Star Tours. But I'd have to say that my current favorite by far is Soarin' Over California. What a totally cool experience!

At DL, Space Mountain - hands down.

At DCA, California Screamin, although ToT is probably going to overtake that if it is anything like WDW's, their ToT is my absolute all time favorite.

Which is scarier...Tower of Terror or Ca Screamin'?
(Please be honest...I am trying to work up the courage to go on TOT)

I think ToT is. I am usually a normal roller coaster rider, although it took me until I was 14 to ride anything beyond DL rollercoasters. No screaming! It annoys me to all ends, so I don't do it! Sometimes I put my hands up.

However, when I rode ToT this past May, I screamed my head off. I was so nervous anticipating the drop, even though I've been on the one in WDW, and other rides like it. My mom turned to me after the drops on one ride and was like, "Whats with you screaming, jeez?" and I just sheepishly replied, "It's just scary, okay?"
Also, for some reason, my face when screaming seemed to make a contortion I cannot replicate for the life of me, but it will make ANYONE pee their pants laughing. I cried laughing seeing it on the screen after the ride. It's terrible, but so hilarious, I had to own a copy of it.. I will post a picture of it later (I'm at work).

CoasterChickie: Hard to say... I am so used to CA Screamin' and I am never nervous about coasters, so Screamin' is not at all scary to me.

ToT, the suspense was the worst. Knowing the general idea of the ride (some kind of drop or "freefall") from the information that was advertised, but not really knowing exactly what would happen.

I can tell you that I actually was a bit nervous (that "excited/nervous" when trying something new) during the beginning of the ride. As it unfolded, I was "yahoooo"-ing and clapping nonstop from the moment of the first unexpected "shift" of the ride, up until the very end. (The picture was hilarious: my arms up above my head, mid-clap, as if I were a belly dancer!) Awesome ride.

Do it... work up the gumption or whatever and get on it. The effects themselves are fantastic. I couldn't wait to go on again and pay more attention to the way they change the views from the "car."

Go, girl, go!
