We (CM's) did a photo collage for the "Happiest Faces on Earth" which is where you can submit your photos to be created into giant collages around the park.

Does anybody have pictures of yesterday's festivities?

Darkbeer, thanks for that link. As this was an aerial shot it looked awesome. But it took up an awful lot of space. Anyone see it from the ground? I can't imagine you could even tell what they were doing. How did it look?

Check out my photo album for ground shots, alas, the photos are in their "raw" form and have not yet been edited.........

I was one of the 1400. They were pictures of cast members. When we all held them up it formed a picture of Mickey Mouse (Im the right thumb). Mickey is supposed to blink his left eye. I don't know how it came out. The local news showed a 1 second prevew then never went back to it.

That is a cool surprise. How did they organize that?

Hey all,
Look for all the info on the event in tomorrow's Disneyland update.
P.S. If they can do this the way they are planning, it will be incredible.

The view from the ground was underwhelming. Several posters on the discussion boards at Fabulous Disney Babe (http://www.fabulousdisneybabe.com/) have pictures.

Start with this post (http://www.fabulousdisneybabe.com/fab/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=602&PN=1&TPN=9#23820) and read on.

Wow, that was the most secretive ad I've ever seen.

There's a cool photo of the card trick the CMs did on the DLR Update (http://www.mouseplanet.com/parkupdates/dlr/dlr040719.htm) today at MousePlanet. Now I need to go dig out some of the old photos to submit for the collages in the park. :)

Not an ad, just pointing out that a ground level view could be seen there to answer the question about that view. Didn't see any similar pics here or on the MP update.

Was there a helicoptor flying around as well? That might be used in TV ads. As it seems now, it would work well in print ads.

No "Beginning of 50th Year" celebrations? Don't they know how important that is?

I didn't see one (and I looked a couple of times), but I cannot guarantee that there wasn't one.

But there were three of the crane lifts, all with still and/or video camera's on them (the scissor lift, which wasn't as high, was used mainly for coordination efforts).
