The Disney Gallery (http://psc.disney.go.com/eventservices/disneygallery/event_disneyland3864.html) website has an announcement that there won't be a screening of "Nightmare Before Christmas" this year.

Why can't they just screen it at the AMC theater, like POTC-CBP? In fact, then folks won't have to buy tickets to DLAND and they can reduce the amount of security....

Yeah, it's not the same, but it's almost too convenient to cancel it this way...

They wouldn't have to buy a ticket to Disneyland anyway. As I recall, the screening ticket included admission to Disneyland after a certain time, the same as most other events.

I know they did this last year, but was that the first year? And had they already announced it for this year before they cancelled it, I wonder?

I went bout two years ago and the cost included getting in.
