Hi! We are coming to Disneyland for the week before Christmas. We love Donald. Is Toontown the only place he hangs out?

On Fri June 3 at about 5pm he was at at the front of Main Street, along with Mickey. Neither of them were there in the morn.

Since Toontown has opened I have never seen him anywhere but there.

Try in ToonTown or in DCA in the Sun Plaza area (Where the big sun icon and waterfall are when you first walk in to the park).

Find a lead. They have the character schedules.
Donald rocks!

Actually, a lead might not have a schedule on them, but they can radio Character 10 and find out who Donald's lead is, then radio that lead, and they can tell you exactly where he is or where he will be and when. It's very common for guests to request to see a certain character so when a character lead gives you a time it tends to be accurate.

Yeah, any cast member in the parks who is familiar with the cast member reference guide should be able to find the number for the character finders (hours are limited though, usually before 7pm ish), who hopefully will have the correct info on where the characters are and at what times. I think if you were to ask the character hosts who escort the characters around they'd know when and where most characters are.

Actually, the position of Toonfinder doesn't exist for the time being. They could always try to contact whatever number they've decided to give on the Reference Guide though, or try calling City Hall or the info board, as they try to keep updated through character leads as well.

Character Hosts don't always have the most accurate information, though. For instance, a host with one of the princesses in front of the castle, may not know exactly what times Woody and Jessie will be out in Frontierland. The reference guides aren't always accurate either, as they're printed out ahead of time, and Almost everything will change on any given day. Don't take the guide for gospel truth and NEVER say "Will" always say "Should" or "Probably" when referring a guest to a character. Trust me, the hosts will apreciate it.
