We are going to Disneyland in October. This is our first trip back since SWGE opened. Will we need to get reservations to get into SWGE? If so, is that something we can do in advance or do we have to wait until we are at the park and have our passes? Trying to plan ahead since we will only be there for two days and would love to see SWGE if possible.

Thank you,

So far reservations for the land itself have only been needed one day in June. It remains to be seen what will happen when APs start becoming unblocked. If they do resort to reservations for the land, it can only be done same day.

If you want to make reservations for Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop or Droid Depot, those can currently be made 14 days in advance.

Thank you very much. I appreciate your insight on what will require reservations.

In case you miss the 14 day window for reservations, they do currently hold some same-day spots that open up at 7am PDT.

And Oga's has also been taking standby customers when the line is short (at the 3rd umbrella, or shorter). Just ask a cast member. We did this late on a Friday and around 4 PM last Saturday (a pretty busy day at the park). No telling if they will continue this policy when you get there, but it may be a way to snag a 2nd or 3rd visit to Oga's and if you weren't able to get a reservation at all, it couldn't hurt to try standby.

If you want to do Savi's, you absolutely need a reservation, and make it as soon as you are 14 days out. Droid Depot also takes reservations but it's often pretty empty. Again, all this might change at any time, but that's how it is right now.
