I think this is an original and fresh premise for a thread and therefore I posted it!!!

My favorite ride is probably the car ride there because of the anticipation :) :fez:   but if I had to choose a REAL ride I would say Splash Mountain.

Also, in before all the silly gooses that say "Disneyland has only one ride but the rest are attractions but the ride is Mr. Toad LOL!" :p :p :p :p :p :p

Hi, I'm Gemini Cricket. This is my first post.

My favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. Because it's fun and has animatronic characters in it. My favorite character is the auctioneer pirate.

That question is wayyyy too hard. I love many different rides for different reasons.

My favorite Dark ride: Pirates.
My favorite Coaster ride: Space Mountain
My favorite Water ride: Splash Mountain
My son's favorite ride: GTMRR...

It is just too hard to pick only 1!

Do past rides count? If so, my favorite ride was the Submarine Voyage. If we're only talking current rides, it'd have to be Space Mountain.

My name is Cupcake and I'll be your hostess. On your right is the Temple of the 3 hour line. Indiana Jones is searching for treasure. I don't know why, I'm right here. If you feel a mist, don't worry that's jsut the monkeys in the trees above us.

ummm Jungle...ehhhh...Cruise

The 2 times I've been, I seemed to like Indiana Jones the best. The ride vehicle was something I expected (from Dinosaur! down here in AK), but it was still awesome.

DCA: Tower
DL: Haunted Mansion

Guess I like spooky things. :)

For me and my daughter, BTMRR. For my wife, Matterhorn.

It will be interesting to see what kind of experience BTMRR is this August. We went to DL last year about 2 weeks before the accident/death, and I must have gone on BTMRR at least 20 times in our 5 days there. This despite the ride being 101 for about 1/4 of our time there.

The Skyway, especially at sunset, especially the Fantasyland-Tomorrowland route.

DL - Matterhorn Bobsleds, especially when I can do one continuous scream from the top of the lift till the splashdown.

DCA - MaliBOOMer, I like S&S Space Shots, and Mali is one of the best (even better than Big Shot at Stratosphere, now that it's been neutered)

Does the "FAA approved manuever for noise reduction" performed by 737 pilots taking off from John Wayne count as a "ride"......if yes, this is my favorite---hands down.

Disney's California Adventure: Jim Henson's MuppetVision 3D
Disneyland: Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

I think Great Moments with Mr Linclon is one that comes as a suprise - it really is great with those sound effects. But I think for me it is the Jungle Cruise.

At DCA I really like Soarin' Over California

Being a sentimental sap, my choices are based on great memories, especially of my mom and sister, and my daughter's childhood:

Peter Pan
Mark Twain
It's A Small World
Autopia
Skyway (waaaaaaaaah, I miss it :()
Submarines (waaaaaaah, I miss them, too! :()
Monorail

Lol! Yup, that's mine, too!:) (It's funny; I'm afraid of flying, but I love that take-off.......).
In DL, it's probably Splash, closely followed by POTC.

What is this "FAA approved manuever for noise reduction"? I am quite interested to hear about it.

There is a noise ordinance and so planes have to take off like the shuttle, go up and out over the ocean, then settle into a flight path. Way fun!:)

Gotta go with the E-tix. They all provide something unique in each ride. Actually every ride does really.

Hmmmm...this is hard...

At DL: probably Splash Mountain (followed by HM and Indy, I think)

At DCA: GRR, followed by Soarin':)

At Disneyland I love to just ride the train around.

At DCA it's Maliboomer.
