I know this may be a tough question, but to satisfy an almost nine-year-old's curiosity, I will ask...
My daughter, the zoo-keeper-in-training, wonders how many koi are in the ponds in Disneyland and the Disneyland Hotel. She has a favorite koi at the DLH, Black Spotter. We always say "Hello" to Black Spotter before we venture to the park. He is almost as important as Mickey Mouse!!
Thank you in advance,

I just happened to run across this on disneyland.com...

Over 200 brilliantly colored Japanese koi fish

Is that a close enough count?

Wendi,

My little zookeeper says, "Thank you for your nice, clear answer."

I also say thank you... :)

How cute! Lol...
Does Miss Zookeeper know just how long koi fish live to be? ;)

Can koi be donated? I have about 50 of them in my fish pond, they're about 14" long and will need a new home since I am going to be moving. I guess I could go to Town Hall on Mainstreet to find out, right?

As a matter of fact, she did know!! I asked her and she said to about 200 years old. I double-checked and sure enough - they are passed down generation after generation, out living their owners.
