I know Mickey's B-Day is on the 18th of Nov., which is a Suday. Do they or have they done anything special in the past?

I don't think they have anything big planed because it's only his 73rd (or 74th?) birthday, not a special birthday like his 75th. For DL's 46th anniversary recently they rededicated Moments with Mr. Lincoln and cast members wore special buttons. I expect to see a small ceremony with Mickey and Minnie and again cast buttons.

I believe the last time they did something really special in the Park for the occasion was for Mickey's 60th. They had kids from all over the world flown in to participate in a big parade and, since this was before the unfortunate ban on balloon releases, they had one of the most spectacular balloon and confetti festivals I've ever seen at Disneyland.
