OK so you buy say a 3 day hopper for 4 people and enter the park. You accidently lose one, two or all of them. Is there a way to track them or are you just out of luck on your remaining days?

You're pretty much out of luck at that point... or maybe a better way to put that is there are no garantees after losing a ticket. Tickets are cosidered the same as cash.
The first thing you are going to be told is to make a trip to Lost & Found. If a cast member picks up a lost ticket, it will usually end up there. You will need some kind of proof of purchse. If it doesn't show up in lost and found the cast member there will direct you on your next steps.
The ticketing system has the capability, but Disneyland will very rarely print new tickets for you. If they decieded they were going to print one for you, they would need the number printed on the back of the ticket. Or at the very least, some kind of proof that you actually bought a ticket.

You're out of luck, unless someone turns them in to lost and found. The first day you use them, you have to sign the back of them. In theory, that would prevent someone else from using it.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe we will photo copy the barcodes off the backs for proof and as insurance. I wonder if anybody else has had this concern?

This happened to me last year. I bought a ticket for my brother and he lost it, we went to Lost and Found and they said that unless somebody turned it in there was nothing we could do. I had bought it using my AP because they had that promotion going on where APs could buy discounted tix, and I even asked if there was some kind of record in their computer that I had actually bought a ticket that day and maybe it could be replaced that way, but nope. So we had to leave after one day, totally messing up my birthday trip :crying:
BTW this is my first post, I have been lurking for a while and love this site. I have to check it every day to get my Disneyland "fix" because I don't make it there as often as I'd like. At least I can live vicariously through my computer :)
