My wife and I have contemplated having "relations" on The Pirates Of The Caribbean on slow days when we are the sole riders in the boat. We have resisted our impulse assuming we are being watched. Are we being watched and who is watching? Any suggestions in this area? :fez:

Oh come on, be serious. Why don't you just do it in the queue like everyone else?

Yes, you're being watched by CMs. And just because you're the only riders in your boat, the people in the boat behind you can probably see you as well.

My suggestion: continue to resist your exhibitionist tendencies while on Pirates.

OBVIOUSLY this thread was created in the spirit of curiosity. We have never acted upon our impulse because we are not vulgar people. Believe me, the thought of my big butt on a CM's screen is just as scary for me as it is for you! So thanks for the warning and enjoy Pirates in complete comfort knowing you won't be viewing something you don't want to.

However, any interesting stories in this area that the CM's or guests want to share? Preferably what you have seen. I am not particularly interested personal stories, but it is a free country. :~D

Disneyland is not the place to engage in this type of behavior.

As stated, this is just curiosity. The moderator is welcome to close this thread. No harm no foul.

omg... just go get a hotel room if you can't resist the urge.. but not on the ride.. lots of cams and other guests can see you.

As previously stated, urges HAVE been resisted. This is intended to be light-hearted. The Happiest Place on earth should be respected but when you go all the time you begin to wonder about certain things. ;)

well to safisfy your interests... I have heard of people commiting the act in both parks.. and those are only the ones that get caught. Though I am sure they catch most of them..

I think it's a great question! I had the urge too, but for all these people who seem to be sooo [unnecessarily] appalled at this post, nothing has ever happened. We can laugh about having a "Splash" on Splash Mountain. I'd certainly be interested in any other stories...

I would say they have quite a few cameras on Pirates. I got stuck on the ride for 45 min. They were on the intercom constantly, "remain seated please", "keep your hands in the boat"...they fianlly turned the music off and everyone cheered. I'm sorry, but 45 min of yo ho is too long!! A amn finally came out in waders and pulled our boats forward so we could walk out of the ride....they were watching pretty closely though...I was really wishing the stupid epople would just stay seated without touching the water so they would stop saying it,..LOL

DH and I once spent an hour riding Pirates, it was so uncrowded they just let us stay in our boat. This was in the early 90's and we counted 12 cameras on the ride...but that's our idea of fun, counting the cameras instead of committing "the act," the park is just *too* pristine for us...

Reason # 69 that the AP program needs to be re-considered .

THANK YOU for coming to my rescue. I was beginning to think I was committing a major sin here on the mousepad. It is a perfectly good question and curiosity! I would preface by asking that posts be clean and not graphic for those sensitive readers. There have got to be some great stories of bold and stupid guests getting caught in "the act" at the park.

as a former POTC CM, let me say that even during the "slow season" when every other boat is sent empty, there is NO privacy on the ride. i recall one unlucky couple that thought they had the building to themselves. their shananigans were closely followed from monitor to monitor by many in the tower... as the boat approached the unload area, CM's lined up to applaud the bewildered nuptials and security was waiting on the other side to offer a very special escort off the ride.

get a room. ;)

ok..not at the park, but at the disneyland hotel. Where tose waterfalls are. ell, we went to see them at night. The gates were closed, but we climbed over them. The waterfalls were turned off....so we found other way to stay entertained...now this was a really long time ago...LOL
