I was wondering if any of you might have some good, supported links to some information concerning the history of the Disneyland Resort. I have been an avid DLR history buff for about a year and a half and am trying to continue to gain knowledge about this wonderful place, and now that I am a CM, I am asking myself more questions and trying to find more information.

I am also looking for information about the Walt Disney Company from the time of the parks conception to present. I am not so interested in the studio history as I am the resort history.

Any historical information concerning this as well as any of the other resorts would be of great thanks.

Also, for you other CMs out there. On the Cast Portal under "Now Playing Online" is a section titled Walt: Man Behind the Myth Series. I was wondering if there is a video of this series that I can purchase. Dick van Dyke is the narrator and does a great job. It includes interviews from his family, celebs, and past and current CMs.

Thanks for everything!

Right here on MousePlanet is Jason Schultz's Magic Kingdom Chronicles (http://www.mouseplanet.com/jason/). And, of course, for everything that has come and gone, don't forget Werner Weiss' wonderful Yesterland (http://www.yesterland.com) site.

Oh, and the "Walt: The Man Behind the Myth" video/DVD may be available at the Emporium or World of Disney. (Though at WDW, I had to go to Once Upon a Toy to find it.) It's an expanded version of the show that aired on ABC a couple of years back, and is the companion piece to the Inside the Dream: The Personal Story of Walt Disney book. Both were authorized by Walt's daughter Diane, and the video/DVD was executive-produced by her son, Walter Elias Disney Miller.
