Many of my friends have an AP
I enjoy going to DL regularly
My AP helps my MA scores :~D
It's one of the cheapest forms of entertainment for us
My husband and I BOTH like DL
I like the people I meet at DL.
I enjoy my CM friends
I have a whole Disney Family I like to see
How else would I annoy others who think DL is too crowded.:p
Because I LOVE it and I want an AP. << The only reason that really matters.:D

My Top 10 Reasons For Re-Newing My PAP (in random order)...

#01. The stage shows, parades, and other entertainment...
#02. A lot of my friends have passes...
#03. The convenience of going whenever I want...
#04. I don't have to bug my sister/other CM's to sign me in...
#05. After only 5-6 visits the APA is paid for...
#06. Disney is a great place to make new friends...
#07. Because I've always loved going to Disneyland, and now DCA...
#08. I live less than 10 mins from the Parks...
#09. It's a wonderful escape for me when I need it...
#10. Enjoying all the beauty & historical legacy each time I go...

I've always had an AP since 1987 (except when I worked at Disneyland), so why should I stop now? You can get so much, for so less! In almost 20 years since being an AP, I have met some really neat people at Disneyland, and now DCA! Some of those friends I still keep in contact with today, others periodically, and some none at all (for whatever reasons). But no matter what, I still met them through Disney and I'm happy for that!

It's nice sharing a common interest with others and having a place to go regularly where you feel good/happy, safe and can be a total kid at heart! And now that I'm a first time Uncle, I can share all that with my little nephew and watch his face light up each time he's at the Parks! Those times are the most magical and precious to me!!

So paying $279 (altho I won't have to until November) for an PAP is just fine with me and totally worth it! No matter how much Disney raises their prices on AP's, I'd still get one!

Patrick :D

I must admit that the $279 price tag made my heart speed up a bit.

DH works M-F and weekends are the only times we can go to the park. To get anything other than the premium pass would further limit the limited Disneyland time we have.

Plus, DD turns 3 this August, so now instead of PP x 2, we're going PP x 3. And one of those is new, so full price.

I have a savings plan in place. (the old cost of passes divided by 6 months equals amount of $$ I have to save each month) But that's a chunk of change for our family that doesn't use credit cards. (three more years of this cash only lifestyle and we'll be 100% out of debt but I digress) .

So, we'll continue to purchase the premium passes but I'm going to be gritting my teeth while I do it. The benefits of spontaneous visits, discounts, included parking and unlimited admission days makes the premium passes worth it to us.

I will say that I wish there was a six month pass as we tend to not go in the summertime at all.
