And as Driftwood says...

"This is what is CURRENTLY scheduled and CAN change. Keep this in mind. Always call the Resort before making plans to visit. "

I'm glad the Toontown fountains are included. Now how about the 3 barrel ones in front of Wetzel's Pretzels?

Maybe it's time to replace the water?

Yeah but Pirates refurb should be a min of 1 month. It has never been any shorter then that. It is a annual refurb that has always been a month not a few days.

Maybe they are just taking out the politically correct parts, and returning them to how the ride was meant to be. ;)

You know...like the Space Mountain paint job...only took a few days...:)

Yes it has. In fact, some attractions have been closed for only a day to be refurbed. Pirates is closed for 4 days cause that's all the time they need to do whatever work they're planning to do. What work do you think they have to do that would require a full month ?

Nothing needs to be done. A little clean up and thats it. Pirates was down last year for the movie opening. It needs nothing they are replacing boats a little clean up and then it's time to reopen.

has anyone else noticed the mix of boats currently? some are now distressed and painted to look like weathered, gray wood with french pirate-wench names (lisette, amelie, etc.) while some remain the old red, green and blue.

are they cycling the boats over gradually to this new scheme, or just testing a few out? themed boats are definately an improvement to the immersive nature of the ride!

I actually like the old ones better. But I think they are cycling the new ones in as they repaint them.

Possibly this rehab is short due to not wanting another big ride down for a long time? Maybe someone is finally starting to worry about rides being open instead of closed at the same time.
