Okay, you know when you walk into City Hall, and on the left of the counter there is a little, machine, I think, that has a peice of cardboard behind it. On the cardboard, there is a bunch of writting that I believe is in Japanese, but I'm not sure. On the machine, it has an LCD, that has the date on it. Can anybody help tell me what this "thingy" does? I have always wondered. Thanks!

I THINK I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT:

One time while in City Hall, I asked a CM what this was. If I remember correctly, there is a prgram for Japanese tourists, where when they visit certain international (or US--not sure--maybe even just Disneyland Resort sites), they can get a stamp with the date. If they get "x" amount of these, they receive a special pin or something. Again, I could have this totally confused, but as far as I remember, this is what it was.
