Hey there, Hi there, ho there,

Jay Rasulo gave a presentation on February 19 at the CitiGroup / Smith Barney 2004 New York Leisure Conference, which is availabel through webcast at http://www.disney.com/investors. In that speech he did reveal some news about Space Ranger Spin opening in Disneyland (among other topics). According to him online users will be able to help users on the actual ride via the internet to shoot their way through the attraction. Unfortunately no details about this...

If you are interested an overview of the whole presentation can be found at: http://www.dlp.info/NewsAndRumours/Specials/CitiGroup_JayRasulo.htm - or you listen to the full 54 minute presentation at the official website.

Sorry - I'm just too tired to retype everything...

Yours
Dirk

Wow! This ride might turn out to be something pretty amazing. A good fit for tommorowland!

This just in. The Disneyland version of the attraction will be named "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Shoot'em Up," as guest-controlled spinning has been outlawed for California theme park rides.

While, strangely, vehicular marksmanship isn't.

Yeah Drive-Bys are OK. In fact they should call it Buzz Lightyear's DriveBy ShootEm Up and install it in the Golden State or Hollywood area of DCA.
