Extra extra! Read all about it . . .
I just got a phone call from the DLR---GD and CP spotted (empty) trains running on Big Thunder Mountain about an hour ago.

Plus, I only saw one light on MS that was out.
I also saw some cool lights on SM.
I saw less crappy paint jobs that ever.
I had a tram operator who actually spoke to us and didn't just play the recorded junk.
All in all, I saw the park in the best condition I have seen in years.
Someone is doing somthing right in that big ole yellow buliding :)

Heehee.....we were so excited. ;) You could hear them on the Trail, and see them by the Barbeque. Empty trains, over and over, and that blissful clack-clack-clack-clack of the lift hill. No sound effects.
I can't wait to ride it again.

Yeah! I can't wait to visit just to hear the train.

They should seriously get the crowd all happy and ready about it coming back by playing the train whistle sounds.

is the mid-march opening still in effect for Big Thunder? It's sounds very promising. I'm planning a trip in early May, but I want to make sure it's open.

Have any cast members here had any re-training on BTM. Let us know what is happening how things are going and if the march 10th deadline is a lock for re-opening.

I've heard that the Castmember reference guides now list 3/10 as the opening date; as opposed to TBD.
Welcome everyone to Disneyland in a new light..... getting ready for it's closeup.
