Are all the floors at the GCH non-smoking, or do you need to specify that you want a non-smoking room when you book? Thanks:)

All rooms are non-smoking. According to thier written policy, if they have 'reason to believe' that you were smoking either in your room or on your balcony, they can charge you a $200 cleaning fee.

Smoking causes higher maintenance costs, probably higher insurance costs, too.
And STILL the normal room rate is near $300!

Funny thing is the Hearthstone Lounge sells Cigars, they have an outdoor area set up for folks to enjoy a drink, and a cigar...

I wasn't aware that the hotel had such a stringent non-smoking policy. Being a non-smoker, I applaud such a policy. I used to work at a motel, and some people can be so inconsiderate with smoking indoors, cigarette ends, and ashtrays/ash. Are the other DLR hotels like this, too?

I believe the Disneyland Hotel, being an older one, has smoking rooms. I'm sure the only way they could switch to non-smoking is to completely redo the decor in the old smoking rooms.
