So does anyone know if they are doing anything else to the Matterhorn besides adding the fast pass machines?

Seems like it has been down for quite a while.

They wouldn't need to close it just to add FP. They were able to add FP to other rides without closing. That doesn't mean they did anything special to Matterhorn though. It needs annual maintenance.

The 12 oclock news had a blurb on it but I missed it. I cannot find anything on their website about it.

Looks like it is open and running according to the wait time app.

yep, we used it Friday night.

You have to go in via the Fast Pass line to get there.

The ride seemed slower. The animation and sound seems to have been worked on. Seem to get a little wetter at the end too.

I got soaked on it earlier this month. I think the water level in those ponds has an effect on it.

I was there yesterday and got a lot of water from it, more than splash mountain
