Hello Everyone!

Anyone know how I may purchase a brick in the courtyard between Disneyland and California Adventure?

Thanks!

Unfortunately the final day to sponsor a paving stone was February 28, 2011. I barely got my order in under the deadline :-).

And how to chisel my ex-husband off my one in WDW!! ROTFL!!!! Maybe I can chisel my grandson's name on his sister's brick. My son wasn't thrilled when I made a brick for the kids (him, his brother and 2 sisters) and didn't include his wife. I didn't want to deal with all the future Kid Inlaws...

We lucked out! We only have sons, so they and their wives and their kids all have the same last name. So we just put our last name (like "The Smiths") and our home town. Never realized that saved us the pain you're describing!

They were $150, with a 10% discount for APs. There is also the replica brick you could get for $35.

That sounds right to me, I think I paid around a hundred GBP. But I didn't know about the replica brick, I wish I had!

I was going to say 135, but I got a discount, I think Disney Visa and that would be right with 10% off. We have a replica.

At the 49ers Levis Stadium they had bricks you could buy. There were red or gold bricks and different sizes, 4x4 with the SF logo or regular size bricks. For the brick I got my Dad, a red 4x4 brick in the SF logo it was $600, but you got a replica brick with purchase.

In 2004 they were $99, and $149 for the 50th brick with the medallion. They ran a promotion for APs through the end of 2004 to get the 50th brick for $99. Back then a premium AP was only $200. I can't imagine what a brick would cost now. I've noticed the letters on the ones in the middle of the esplanade are eroding. I think that when the last phase gets to the 10 year guarantee that Disney will likely start to remove them.

At the time we had our brick made we had one son-in-law and one grandson. We figured there would be more to add, (we have 4 kids) so we put our immediate family's initials, our last name and "and family." Thank goodness! Now we have 2 sons-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren who would all be miffed if there name wasn't there to step on :)

This is why I did only do my kids and not DILs. My son kinda did the "But why can't Princess have her name on it", and I explained it wouldn't be fair to other future in-laws.

If they were available, I'd get Little Heir his, but for now, since they aren't, Heiress is the only one who gets one.
