If you go to www.mapquest.com and map the address 1313 Harbor in Anaheim, then on the next page click the "Arial photo" tab and it will show you a cool satellite photo of DLR! It has DLP and DCA from high above the earth.

You can mess with the zooming to zoom WAY in and see stuff!

It's important to us all to nurture our inner geek. :geek:

At least, I have to believe that, since I immediately went to check it out. :D

I've been nurturing my inner geek for years. I have several images archived in VERY large format. I have the DLR during DCA construction and from 2002. The cool thing is how much room there is in DCA for major additions. From the air it's easy to see.

You can also use TerraServer (http://terraserver-usa.com/) to find aerial photos Epcot and the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World... look under "Famous Places" on the left hand side.

I've always heard that the spike just inside the caste was the center of DL. From the arial photo, it looks like the steps leading up to it is the center.

I believe the golden spike is the exact center of Disneyland when it first opened. Of course, with all the expansions since then, the actual center of Disneyland has changed.

That's pretty cool. Too bad the resolution isn't better when you zoom in, but its still very very cool.
