What is Disneyland's tastiest treat?

My vote is for the caramel apples, chocolate covered marshmellos, and popcorn. Yum!

The chimichangas sold around this time of year are muy delicioso. For a sweet treat, the butterfinger/chocolate/caramel pretzels from the new candy shop in Critter Country are unbeatable.

Lani,
I just ran the New York Marathon. Good luck at Disney! Running makes us feel less guilty for all of those tasty treats!

It has to be the churro, no questions asked but for 2.75 a pop im going to be the youngest person ever to be on welfare.

The Snickerdoodle cookie (and the Raspberry/white chocolate chip is second) sold in the various candy shops around the resort is the best.

I love the cheesecake with chocolate and caramel sauce drizzled on top that they serve at the French Market in NOS. The fudge in Frontierland and Main St. is wonderful, too.

Nonsweet: Main St. Corn dog with mustard  Calamari rings at Blue Bayou or the Uva Bar. Chili dog w/fries from White Water Snacks.

Sweet: Dark Chocolate Honeycomb from Candy Palace. Chocolate dipped strawberries while lounging in our room at the GC hotel. Frozen chocolate bananas. Apple slices and caramel dip. And the bags of huge grapes from the fruit carts! Yummy... :D

thank goodness we only go 1 a yr...otherwise I'd be rollin' back onto the plane home... ;)

Sadly you might be on welfare sooner than you think... prices went up to $3.00 (i think).

But even at $3.00 they're still yummy *drools*

As of last Friday, Nov. 14, they were still $2.75. I recall noting it and remembering when $20 could buy you five (and did, once).

I was very disappointed the other night. I stopped in to Baker's Field Bakery and got my very favorite treat, the Gourmet Hot Chocolate, only to find that it was a pale immitation of the version I used to get every time I went to the resort last winter. The fact that the CM neglected to put the whipped cream and chocolate shavings was bad enough, but the hot chocolate itself just tasted like hot water with a dusting of chocolate. What a bummer. :crying:

Edited to add that this is actually at DCA, but I usually get it there and then take it with me over to Dland!

According to my mother in Michigan, the tastiest treat at Disneyland are the chocolate-dipped Mickey-ear rice krispie treats. Last week I flew four of them to her to sweeten her hospital stay for her lumpectomy; she really seemed to appreciate her favorite snack as a replacement for bad hospital jell-o. :p

$2.75*5 = $13.75

$20/5 = $4.00

Did you mean $2 could buy you five? What year was this?

I wonder about socabch...we should bump into her at the park once in a while, eh? When she showed up with the fistfulls of churros, I was sure she was a keeper. :D

Having to spend quite a bit of time at Pooh Corner during this year's visit I had ample time to sample treats in the new candy kitchen. My new favorite treat is the pooh rice krispie treat with peanut butter dipped in chocolate. Rare is the treat that is so good that I actually laugh out loud - yum!

I dunno, but am I the only one here that thinks that there is something inherently wrong with Chocolate-covered Pooh??

 :~D
