Hello all! I have a quick question that I'm surprised I haven't found the answer to easily. I figure you all will have ZERO issue naming this droid, the luggage handling guy right before you get your 3D glasses at Star Tours:

Help?

They are G2 repair droids, aka "goose droid". I don't know if they each have a particular name or nickname though.

I never would have known it without looking it up, but Wookieepedia seems to confirm. See the page on the droid here. (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/G2_repair_droid)

Yes indeed, they are "goose droids" because they used to be the goose figures in America Sings. Weird but true.

I think I may have heard the goose part somewhere before(probably in some article(s) about Star Tours I may have read over the years), but I never would have been able to hazard a guess on the G2 designation.

Ya know . . .

I wonder if he's nicknamed that because he's voiced by Patrick Warburton.

I love that! Gotta give credit to DD who immediately said, "Oh, that's a goose droid." But she didn't know about the America Sings connection. Before her time.
