From News Source:
Disneyland, which calls itself "the happiest place on earth,'' turned somber on Friday as guests, employees, and even Mickey Mouse, stopped to remember those lost in Tuesday's terrorist attacks. Keeping with a request to the nation by President Bush, the country's best-known theme park observed a moment of silence and shut down its rides, shows and music. Even the children, following their parents' lead, kept quiet and stood completely still, as the emotional crowd sang "God Bless America'' and red, white and blue balloons were released skyward. The Walt Disney Company closed its U.S. parks on Tuesday after hijacked planes slammed into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. The parks reopened Wednesday.

Glad to hear that Disney is recognizing this day...as we all should.
