She questioned the validity of these tickets enough to take a picture of his license plate but still gave him money?!??

Just another lowlife looking to scam a few bucks to feed his habits. Glad he's going down!

But they're only charging him for petty theft (the inactivated tickets) and drug paraphernalia. Nothing related to the actual selling of the tickets.

She questioned the tickets, yet SHE bought them on Craigslist. I have no sympathy for her either.

I don't think you are able to resell tickets????

I think it's against Disney's rules, but not actually illegal to resell.

I think it's against Disney's rules, but not actually illegal to resell. Not in California.

Correct. Disney can set a policy that they can't be resold but it is not a state law to resell Disney tickets. Thus not getting busted for that. Fraud for sure though

But was he charged with that? Petty theft sounds like stealing the pre-validated cards, not misrepresenting what was sold.

One of the clips I read, this is exactly what he did. The ones from the grocery store.

Right, but was that the petty theft, or was the selling of the invalid tickets the petty theft. Cause I'd think it would be something besides petty theft. But maybe if its it illegal in California to sell them, it was just a 'buyer beware' situation? Which doesn't make sense given that they've had other people arrested for selling invalid/already used tickets.

That is not what he is charged with, that is what he was booked on (what he was arrested for). The police can only book based on what they have.

Charges (what he will be tried for) are filed by the D.A. after the investigation is complete.
