I'm posting this here because this topic may pertain to a running event, but is not intended for the runners. Disneyland is looking for Star Wars "costumers" to volunteer to cheer during the Star Wars Half Marathon weekend.

Here's the link (http://www.disneylandevents.com/starwars/) to the Disney website with all the details, and here is a quick summary:

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
In order to participate, individuals must register for the event and submit a photo of their costume.
Participants must come dressed as Star Wars characters only.
Costumes must be as true to the original costume as possible
The time commitment is from approximately 04:30 am through 09:30 am. [Sunday, January 18, 2015]
Those Costumers who meet the eligibility requirements and are registered for the 2015 Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend may receive a DisneylandŽ Resort Theme Park ticket.

I know we have a few readers who are members of the 501st Legion, and I'm sure they already know about this, but I wanted to share it with other readers who may have an amazing Star Wars costume and want to volunteer a morning to get a free Disneyland ticket.

Thanks for posting this. Yes, it is up on the 501st and Rebel Legion sites. Looking forward to all the costumes and we might even get some new members out of this :fez: May The Force Be With You!
