Has anyone participated in the quests for the Adventure Trading Company? What are the thought and feedback about this? And are the juju worth it for $5 to $7 each time?

Adrienne wrote about it in our Disneyland Resort Update on August 4 (http://www.mouseplanet.com/9520/Disneyland_Resort_Update#News4).

You should also keep an eye on the @DisneylandToday twitter feed for chances to earn an additional juju. Read more in the August 11 Update "This and That" section (http://www.mouseplanet.com/10777/Disneyland_Resort_Update#newsTnT); it's the fifth item.

and it may be ending soon (@DIsneylandToday always says "while supplies last" so...)

I've only done it at the D23 Expo, but I thought it was fun! Short little quest and a souvenir for pretty cheap. I plan on doing at least one more when I go next weekend :-)

We enjoyed them quite a lot! The jujus are very nice quality; I'm going to turn mine into a mobile using some driftwood pieces. Some adventures are more difficult than others (don't try Eye of Mara after dark!). The production values on the adventure materials are excellent and they will make good souvenirs in addition to the juju. I wish there was an adventure associated with the tooth and tree house jujus; they are kind of boring to obtain. The food jujus are delicious (well, the venomade wasn't my favorite, but the jujujuice and pineapple upside down parfait make up for it). You can trade jujus with cast members, too, so if your whole party is getting the pineapple parfaits, you can trade your extra pineapple jujus for something else.

This was such a great activity and I hope Disney brings it back and expands it in the future.

I started by getting three last week and had planned to stick to that spending cap of $21 for the pineapple, tiki mask and eye of Mara jujus. Then I went and told my friends about it, who surprised me for being Disney fans who hadn't heard or read anything about it, and they started buying them and showing off what they got. And when they did that, my stupid collector-nature got the best of me and I ended up getting the remaining six. That's $53.50 total that I spent to get them all, for those who hadn't yet totaled the financial investment required to get the set (I tipped a $1 for my JuJuJuice at Trader Sam's).

I posted all of mine on Instagram (http://instagram.com/gone2disneyland) as I collected them. Here's four of my favorites. I was there today and other friends who started collecting them today found that several jujus weren't available anymore, like the four below. And while signs were up at Bengal Barbeque and Tropical Imports that new shipments were arriving tomorrow, some Cast Members told me friends that's not exactly the case, and if shipments did happen to arrive, they claimed they didn't know what jujus and what quantities of each were arriving. That sorta jives with what the last Disney Parks Blog said last week about the last shipment having arrived (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2014/08/dateline-adventureland-final-shipments-arrive-at-adventure-trading-company-at-disneyland-park/). Heck, I should admit that that blog post is what got to get started getting the first three to begin with.

I want to add that the Pineapple Parfait is delicious!!! I hope they bring that back as a regular food offering after the event ends.

What was in the pineapple parfait?

Crushed pineapple, a kinda tart pudding/cream, and white cake. Several layers of each. Delicious! Like Gone2Disneyland, I hope they bring this back as a regular offering.
