I noticed yesterday some new merchandise that was based on the four main lands in Disneyland, and they were so cute.

They had small hard plastic plates, one for each land. I love the details on the plates, with elements from rides in each respective land. My favorite was Fantasyland. Here are two of the plates (http://twitpic.com/e28zz3) and here are the other two (http://twitpic.com/e2901j). Oops, I just realized I have Fantasyland on there twice. There's one for Frontierland too.

They also had a hard plastic snack combo set (http://twitpic.com/e2905y)with three bowls (the four sides has each individual land) and the plate. I didn't take pics of them, but they also had a larger hard plastic plate with a mix of images and a ceramic mug with a mix of images. I didn't like those as much because I thought the mix of images was too busy.

My favorite thing was the little ceramic trash can pepper shakers (http://twitpic.com/e28zvg). You can put salt in them too, but the holes really designate them as pepper shakers.

this goes along with the adventureland stuff that I believe was posted elsewhere on the board.

That is good to hear because I saw those on the Disney store site I thought they looked cute too and are reasonable priced. Hope they still have them in July.

Be careful though. I hear that many of these are non-microwavable and not dishwasher safe.

I saw them when we were there earlier this month. They were really cute. They are just melamine. They don't do too well in the microwave but I still put my other melamine plates in there on occasion. I think they all have a dishwasher warning too.

Very cute! I've found that the melanie will fade overtime in the dishwasher, hence the warning not to wash them in there. I figure, they are plastic plates, they aren't meant to last forever, and wash mine in there.

Just hope that the salt and pepper shakers are re-stocked then. BTW, the site is still sold out of all of them.

Sis and I went to DLR yesterday for our "last trip until the fall" and my sole merchandise purpose was to see if there were any of the trash can shakers there. The plates can be found rather easily, but after not finding any of the shakers in D-land, while we were in CA Adventure on the right side as you enter (sorry can't remember the name of the store), a very nice older CM helped me find one of two remaining Fantasyland shakers they had on display. There were none in the back either. Come to find out the Enchanted Chamber store by SB Castle had about a dozen of them but we never go in there.

I really hope these things are re-stocked. We checked in World of Disney before getting on the tram for the parking structure, and none there either. Very popular piece of merch and I sure do wish I had kept my eyes peeled for the info on these things several weeks back instead of just last week with the Disney Parks Blog info. :( I don't believe they have been out for long but again, those shakers are mega-popular and they're all sold-out it seems. For now anyway.
