What if DCA was never built, what disney parck would you want to be their. I would want Disney Studio, it would make sence. And it a nice park. Full of half day fun and it would have been cheap to build.

from someone who has been to epcot numerous times let me say that westcot by itself would not have worked. WDW found this out with the decline in attendance at epcot. the DisneySea idea as it is in tokyo is best. and I understand it is about the same size so it would have worked.

It wouldn't have been the same as Epcot. If you read the article from the link in Andrew's post above, you can see how entirely different it was going to be. They learned their lessons from EPCOT and weren't going to repeat it in Anaheim.

I want Disney Seas in my backyard! It was supposed to be in Long Beach. They used the plans as a basis for TDS. (Notice the "Queen Mary" as a weenie?)

DisneySeas is a brand new theme park(paid for by the Oriental Land company and designed by WDI) that opened just a couple of years ago( if that) in Tokyo(right next to Tokyo Disneyland). It is said to have the best over all themeing of any theme park world wide. However as good as the themeing is, it is a new park and only has a handfull of must see attractions.

Westcot is the Theme Park that was supposed to be built in the Disneyland Parking Lot before budgetary concerns(among other things) nixed the idea:crying:

DisneySea! I want to stay at Hotel Miracosta. That thing is awesome. I remember when I first walked into the Grand Californian, I got goosebumps by how beautiful it is. I'd prolly die if I walked into Hotel Miracosta. The detail is so nice.

Disney Movielands.

Under the Sea Land(Little Mermaid, Nemo, 20,000 Leagues, etc), Bugs Land (done with much better rides than the add on), Animaton Studio (like HPB, but only cartoons, not Stupidstar Lamo, Soap Opera Bistro...), and a tiny World Showcase with buildings from places Disney movies have been set: Agrobah market, Belle's French village, Mulan's China, London from Peter Pan, etc.

Oh, and this could still be done if the stock markets ever return to rewarding long term investing instead of trading on next quarter's revenue and profit.

Hope brother Bear is a his and retheme GRR to it. Condor Flats becomes Agrobah market with magic carpet ride around the world (Soarin'). Overlay Superstar Limo and enhance other cartoony features of HPB. Retheme Screamin' to remove the white superstructure and replace with Triton's castle themed supports. Boomer goes away, and is replaced with an Ursula spinner. Route 66 becomes Nemo dark ride and can eve support other movies set in the Pacific (Lilo, Rescuers Down Under). Bugs land gets much better rides. Wharf and Bay Area become the mini-world showcase China, France, London, etc. ToT is accessed from here.

Add RnRC type ride, but themed to a Dinsey catroon. Maybe Hot Wheels ride themed to Toy Story.

It would probably be another $1 billion, but then they'd have a park worth $2 billion. Now they have a park that cost $0.8 billion, that isn't worth nearly that much.
